MemStrategy, an Asian digital asset company, has introduced the world’s first tokenized fund specifically designed for investing in Pokémon collectible cards. Targeted at professional investors, the fund is offered through the licensed alternative asset digital investment platform, EVIDENT Platform Services Limited, aiming to establish an institutional-grade investment channel in the collectible card market. The fund will focus on investing in PSA 10 graded ‘Picasso with Grief Felt Hat’ cards, which were issued as a limited edition collaboration between the Pokémon Company and the Van Gogh Museum, inspired by Van Gogh’s famous self-portrait. Approximately 47,000 PSA 10 grade cards are currently in circulation, with a total market value estimated at over $94 million. The fund aims to acquire around 25 percent of the available PSA 10 grade cards in the market.

Regarding the global collectibles market, the company projects growth to $628 billion by 2031, with the collectible card segment expected to rise from $1.47 billion in 2025 to $3.742 billion by 2034. Over the past 20 years, the value of Pokémon cards has increased more than 30-fold, with record-breaking auction sales for high-grade cards, including the PSA 10 ‘Picasso Illustrator’ card once owned by celebrity Logan Paul, which sold for $16.492 million. The fund will be managed by RWA Labs Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MemStrategy acting as the general partner and strategic investor as a limited partner. Physical cards will be authenticated, insured, and securely stored under museum-grade temperature and humidity controls. The assets will undergo reserve-proof audits every six months by one of the Big Four accounting firms to ensure transparency and investor protection. This initiative combines digital and traditional assets to offer new investment opportunities and has the potential to become a pioneering platform for investors amid the rapidly growing collectible card market.
