21 Capital, a prominent investment firm in the cryptocurrency and Bitcoin sector, is set to officially list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in December. CEO Jack Malerz announced that the listing will occur on December 10, Beijing time, under the ticker symbol ‘XXI’. Concurrently, the company will transfer over 43,500 Bitcoins from a custodial account to a self-custodial account and subsequently release full transparency documents regarding its reserves.

This move by 21 Capital is seen as a significant step toward promoting transparency in the crypto market. The company emphasized that its transparency policy will set new industry standards. Previously, it transferred approximately $3.94 billion worth of Bitcoins to a new wallet, underscoring its efforts to ensure financial stability and asset protection.

21 Capital’s progress aims to enhance trust in the global cryptocurrency market and provide investors with a safer, more reliable platform. Listing on a reputable exchange like the NYSE is expected to bolster the company’s credibility and contribute to formalizing and regulating crypto investments. Although volatility and technical changes remain inherent in the crypto space, such initiatives signal market maturity and investor protection. This development may serve as a model for other crypto firms seeking to strengthen their market position through transparency and self-custodial frameworks.
