Tom Lee: Fundstrat Correctly Predicted BTC Drop to $60,000

Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of BitMEX, stated that the cryptocurrency market is very close to its bottom. The current market trend is extremely weak, and investor sentiment remains disappointing. Market expert Tom DeMark had predicted since last November that Bitcoin’s price would approach $60,000. Initially, he identified Ethereum’s bottom at $2,400, but if that level does not hold, the price could fall to $1,890. According to him, one final drop is expected, which will mark the lowest point and signal the end of the market’s downward phase.

Fundstrat’s 2026 cryptocurrency strategy forecasted a deep market correction in the first half of the year, targeting Bitcoin between $60,000 and $65,000, Ethereum between $1,800 and $2,000, and Solana between $50 and $75. However, Tom Lee has consistently claimed that by January 2026, both Bitcoin and Ethereum will reach new all-time highs. The volatility in major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum is significant for investors as it determines the overall market trend and future direction. While the global crypto markets are currently facing a challenging phase, experts believe that stability will soon return, leading to rising prices. Investors are advised to adopt cautious strategies while understanding the present market conditions.
