According to PANews, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou has committed to recovering stolen funds following a recent hack. Zhou stated that the exchange will employ various strategies, including offering a bounty program for assistance in fund recovery, collaborating with law enforcement, and engaging with the Ethereum Foundation to explore potential solutions.
During a Spaces session on February 22, Zhou was asked about the possibility of rolling back the Ethereum blockchain to its state before the February 21 hack by the Lazarus Group. He responded, “I’m not sure if this is a decision for one person. In the spirit of blockchain, perhaps this should be a voting process to see what the community wants, but I’m not sure.”
